How do you like the initial tone and sound of it? I feel videos on YouTube don’t do it justice. The clips that @Mojave2021 posted sound awesome and to me don’t sound like the YouTube videos I have seen.
I’ll revise my previous post. After spending some more time with it this AM it’s more noticeable for sure. Hard to describe but I’d almost say like turning the OEM exhaust up with the volume knob. Initial start has a (v6 version) of throaty growl a bit. Then it idles down and is subtle. Getting on it at all is fairly loud but nowhere approaching obnoxious or excessive. The best part is at cruise rpm’s it’s not hardly noticeable at all.

Awesome, as you may have seen from other posts I think I put on here, I don’t want it to be to much for my kids or wife.

Love my awe
Only on 500 miles... each day it sounds better and better.

I will say, its a 6 cyl and not 8. It'll never sound like one. But it is by far the best sounding one I've heard.
My exhaust is sounding better and better everyday.

OP did you make a decision? I’m leaning toward the awe tread single. Keep us posted if you buy one.

I’m def getting awe, I just can’t decide on trail, single, or dual. I called customer service to see if they were ever gonna develop anything a tad quieter and they said no, and told me the dual will spread the sound out better with having a family and the trail would be the loudest in the cab dumping the sound out under the bed. Idk if it’s me or not but from the vids I have seen the single or dual tread just sound cleaner. Idk if it’s cuz of the tips or if it’s just me.

Installed the Trail edition today. Sounds great, not obnoxious
What do you think about the sound if you have a family? Would it be to much for them?

At highway speeds I can’t hear it due to the sing of the stock mud tires. My wife, daughter, and I are taking a little road trip to Amarillo from Louisiana this weekend. If its too loud, Im sure I’ll hear about. Running around town was no issue. If I accelerate hard, you can certainly hear it.

Just got back from Capulin, NM. Appx 1600 miles round trip. Highway speeds, slow speeds, cruising speeds all sounded great. No complaints from the family. The AWE exhaust sounded and performed great. Round trip averaged 18.2 MPG running 80 MPH most of the way.

Thanks for the update, cool to see the system in action!

If you have any photos or videos of your trip that you want to share, send them my way. ;)

I got the exhaust on tonight, install was a breeze everything fit perfectly. Hardest part was getting the stock out from under the jeep. But I’m really impressed with the exhaust. Initial impression is that it is a very smooth tone, no rasp whatsoever. No drone. And when cruising at highway speeds you can’t here it at all. But when you stomp on it, it def lets you know it’s there. I wouldn say it’s overbearing at all, for when some people say it’s to loud. My f150 prior to this had the 5.0. I had a banks monster with a resonator delete pipe. I know that’s an apple to oranges comparison to sound, I’m just trying to get across that your ears don’t ring at all. This is just smooth. Videos on YouTube honestly don’t do it justice. To me it sounds completely diff in person than what it does online. And I even liked the videos and sound clips online. It has a real sporty sound to it. Someone can correct me if they think I’m wrong. But it sounds like the stock exhaust is just turned up with a mix of like a 350 or g35. My buddy says to him it sounds like the new Supra to an extent. But overall I’m thrilled with it so far. Awe and other people have said it mellows out over 1000 miles or so. So I’m very curious to see how it changes. Good job Awe!
