Batwing Compact or Full with the large iKamper?

We are looking to get the Batwing awning. Their large unit seems a bit long, riding over the passenger door a good bit. While the compact seems the right length, nearly matching the length of our iKamper, I'm concerned about coverage over the tailgate with the compact. Any experience and or thoughts for coverage on the Gladiator?
