Here is my story about the Baxter Performance MS-201-BK oil cartrige to spin-oil filter adapter, I bought this item from Northridge4x4 on Aug/01/2023 for $334.00 including the military discount, was installed by ME last Sunday Aug/13/2023 went to test it and the thing came loose and lost a lot of oil, thanks God that nothing happened just a Big mess of oil all over the engine and under the chassis. I proceeded to install the regular oil filter and I don’t want to install it again, I know I messed up in the installation. For that reason its FOR SALE $200 as is still having the oil residual. If you want to keep it and not lose money, the silver tab you see on the big threads, that gets popped out or up AFTER you thread the big threads in and before you spin the filter on.

That's why it loosened up on you.
