Bed Step options?

I know that Amp Research has a bed step, but it looks to go on the passenger side and comes straight out the back.
I'd really prefer a bed step on the driver's side and to come out at an angle that would allow me to use it with the tailgate down.
Are there any options out there besides Amp Research?

I saw the AMP step in person a week ago, I really liked how it flips up when not in use but yeah... I totally didn't realise it might be useless if the gate is open. Right now I just use the step built into the corners of my rear bumper, Rugged Ridge HD. My only issue is finding something to grab for my hand, which currently is the tiny mechanism that locks the gate when closed. I would prefer a handle of some sort but I will be adding a bed rack soon so that should work as a grip.

Not sure if this would work. But thought I would share.

I just saw a guy a few days ago with one of these on a lifted F150. I was able to look at it is person. Little bulky on the tailgate when closed but perfect when deployed.

I ordered the AMP and not only is it useless with the tailgate open (the only time I'd be climbing into the bed) but I have the diesel and it can't fold up because it hits the exhaust. I like the Westin but am hesitant because of the large size when folded. I'm too old and fat for no step.

I've been looking at this one, or something similar. https://a.co/d/8eGtDGo I like that it pivots from the side to the rear and had adjustable height, plus a grab handle.
There are several others as well.
