We have made it to Baja! We have been here for just over 5 weeks and are loving every second. The beaches have been wonderful, the beer has been cheap and good, and the food is to die for. Man do we love Mexico.

Of course. It is easiest to go here to see the build: Tortuga The Jeep
We are loving Baja. It is super easy to get around and finding places to camp is pretty easy as well. We use iOverlander a lot and have done pay camps too as they are usually around $10-15/night and they have showers and washrooms. We have met so many over landers on this journey and would recommend anyone with a little bit of an adventurous sprit go to Baja. Baja makes it super easy as you don't need to stop at immigration or customs as long as you stay in Baja. We crossed at Mexicali and it was simple.

That's rad. The only way to get my wife to "camp" would to kidnap her, cuffer and stuffer and move out LOL

Ha that is funny. We drove to Costa Rica in 2019 in our 2 door JL and that was our first big international trip and we did hotels and Airbnb's the way down. After we moved back to the states we knew we wanted to do a longer trip and in order to afford that she knew we would be camping. The Alu-Cab is so comfortable and now that we are in warmer weather, most of our time is spent outdoors. We went from ground tent camping in Colorado to the Alu-Cab and what a luxurious upgrade it has been.
