Thanks for the info. I decided to splurge and get them for myself as a combo Christmas and Bday present.

I originally ordered them on Amazon, since I had a $100 gift card. But they never arrived, even when it says they did. So fighting with Amazon there still.

So I ordered a set directly from Oracle. They arrived quickly and I have an appointment to have them installed just before my Bday next month. Looking forward to the extra light when I drive to work at 2:30 am. As you can see they are not very bright.

I am trying to find the led bulbs for the fog lights, so I can change them out, for now. I plan to replace the Fogs, when I decide on a bumper in the summer, so I can make sure they fit in it properly.

I appreciate everyone's ideas and feedback. Thank you!
That’s great you’re able to pay so much for headlight assembly. As far as fog lights? I would stay away from LED, as the fog lights are only designed to illuminate the fog lines on the roads, to help keep you in between them. Without being so bright as to reflect back at you against the fog. Now it you want a real driving light that’s another story. Then you have two choices, a pencil beam to reach out as far as you can, or flood type that will illuminate the entire roadway from side to side, but not quite as deep.

Good problems…I wish I lived in Alaska
The LONG winters get to you. I love fishing, and that helps make it reasonable, but normally we have snow in mid September, and it lasts until May.... Not to mention the lack of light in the winter. For example, when I left work at 11am today, it was like twilight, and did not get much brighter until 2ish, and it was dark a couple of hours later.

everyplace has pros and cons to living there. Be it in Minn, Cali, Vegas, Cabo San Lucas, Texas, NY, SC, or Maine. I find the key to it is trying to make the most of the positive, so then the cons seem less.

Have a great New Year, and may your tires play in the dirt and mud often

Thanks for the info. I greatly appreciate it.

Yeah it was expensive and I will be paying it off for months, but I know it will increase my enjoyment of my Jeep, and I think it will be safer in my very long winter. Safety is KEY, esp for my little one. We have noticed the lack of lumination a few times when we were out running around, and I figure if a 9 yr old notices how dark it is, esp compared to my 14 year old SUV, then its worth the upgrade.

Have a great one, and an even better New Year!!!
