Best time for wheel and tires to go on sale

A wise teacher once told us - if you go shopping for shoes and spend 3 days looking and find a pair that you really like, they fit well, and the price is affordable and you buy them, the find out that a day later they went on sale - did you make a bad decison?
No. You made the best decision possible based on the information available to you at that time. It was still a good decision.

So if you find tires you like and you can afford, buy them. Don't get upset if they go on sale next week. You couldn't have known that.

Everything SP said! and I’m the guy that when I finally get to that moment, I say to the sales person, lower it 3% more and I’ll pay you in cash. (Make them get a manager) Now it turns into a great decision!
