Just bought a Gladiator Overland and getting a 2.5" lift with 35s (17in wheel) put on... Been debating which tires to get. Any feedback on BF Goodrich KO2 AT versus Toyo Open Country AT?

I got the Toyo AT3s and they have been great so far about 1k miles. They also have a more aggressive sidewall then the AT2s had.

Both the BFG T/A K02 and the Toyo Open Country ATIII are solid tires, which tire is right for you depends on what you are looking for in your next tire and what conditions you drive in.

If we can help please let us know.

I just got 35" KO2's. They look aggressive and aren't loud on the road, it's only been 3 days but I'm happy so far.

I have had both, the BFGs are a little smaller for the same size, in my experience the Toyo required less weight to balance and wear much longer than BFGs.

I’ve had both. Like them both. I found the ko2 just a little better in snow but the toyo better offroad.
Good luck on your decision

If you are running in the S. TX brush country, go with the BFGs. The sidewalls survive the mesquite trunks and everything with thorns.

I know this is an old thread but I would like an update from the guys running the Toyo tires, how did they wear and was the sidewall an issue? Specifically wondering if the wear pattern on the tread caused the tires to be noisier on the road when they got about half way through the tread wear rating. Also how many miles you have on them.

I have the KO2s for about 6 months. They have been great. Got them from Discount Tire. They are great as well.
