I've had 3 independent local tire shops tell me the same thing re BFG quality. Allegedly some QA changes were made during COVID that resulted in a subsequent decrease in quality. With that said, I have BFG AT KO2 on my 2019 JLUR and they have been great. For my recent Mojave upgrade, I rolled the dice and went with the 35x12.50 Toyo Open Country RT Trails (E rating). Only have 200 miles on them, so way too early to pass judgement. They look great and are relatively quiet, so there's that. Running them on the stock 17x7.5 wheel (yeah, I know).
