Some follow up… Although I would’ve preferred a bolt-on deflector, I settled for the Bushwacker Trail Armor Jeep Hood Guard, which I bought here:

Just curious, why do you think they say it's not recommended for Mojave.
Looks like it fits perfectly except for the very ends where it meets the radiused part.
Still looks good. I hope it gives some protection if you purchased for that reason.

Looking at the ends wonder if one could remove some material and allow it to conform, maybe even heat it up.
