First, black only absorbs heat from light. The material may hold heat, but that isn’t based on the color.Curious as to why you went black vs another lighter color which may not hold as much heat in the summertime
last two weeks it was 90+ here the inside panels were not even warm to the touch when I got in the truck. I do use an inside windshield cover when parking at work. I also have ventvisors so I can leave the windows down about 2”. I also open the rear window sometimes when parked. Tinting windows soon as well. The black has not been an issue this far. Plus most of my interior is black, it matches.
