Thanks for uploading this - just as I suspected it is really not that loud. I think I am going to get the ATAK. I want a bit of oomph rumph to the rumble LOL. I just was worried that the ATAK might sound like a bro-dozer but I don't believe it will.
I’m pretty happy with the S-Type but it’s pretty tame. Seat of the pants feels a little peppier. Post up a video if you get the ATAK installed.

Ha! I wasn’t doing much - mostly filming. Could do it alone but if you got extra hands, why not?

Agree. You get what you pay for. I got a great deal from Jeff Reed from Dales Superstore.

No drone. Sounds good in town and on the highway.
A little update. Some minor drone at 80mph and around 2500 rpms on the highway in 6th gear (manual). Interestingly no drone at 2500 rpms in lower gears. Seems to go away if you go a little faster or a little slower. Guessing it’s a combo of factors but noticed it a bit on a 200 mile drive. Not terrible but first the first I’ve noticed any drone from this system. Overall it’s great and I was specifically listening for drone/noises since this was the first long trip since the install. I probably won’t even notice it in a month.

That's great, I am leaning towards ATAK. I guess this will never be an issue for me, cuz I never do 80mph hahaha . I believe I have cracked 80 only once in my JT. The fastest I drive it is around 75mph. It just gets too uncomfortable for me at any speeds beyond that for some reason. However, I can easily do 100mph in my Mini Cooper S.

Thanks for that update! I haven't hit 80 in my g80 yet either. 75 I hit for a short while. But the wind noise in my 35 is that too loud at that point. I'm guessing drone will be a non-issue here as well.

Hi guys,

My Borla is on order to Dubai and will need some time...in the meantime I want to shift the Extreme Air pump and tank to the RHINO but don't want to create a cradle for the air tank between the OEM muffler and the driveshaft that may foul with the Borla...took a picture of the underbelly today...can someone confirm or deny whether the Borla for sure takes us LESS space so that we can proceed and once the Borla comes we don't have any issues?

Goal is to mount it closer to the transferase than the diff (more space with skinnier mid-shaft & smaller muffler)

Thanks!
Nadim

It actually looks the same as the stock exhaust. Only if you will straight pipe one of the two mufflers where you could have more space. Can you tell us which workshop you are thinking of installing your Borla Exhaust?
