If I wanna ride with my doors off.. How do I get around the "auto-park" safety function?
Does the Tazer offer a fix?
Will tube doors trick sensors into thinking doors are closed?

I also just had AMP retractable boards installed..
How do I get around those with the doors off?

For the AutoPark, your owner's manual should have the info. While I have never run with the doors off, it appears that once you remove the doors, the AutoPark is disabled whenever you are sitting in the driver seat (seat sensor is active).

In answer to your original question. Tazer does have a feature to disable auto park. It is doors on or off.

What they said - in other words, Jeep took care of the autopark doors off thing. Geesh, think of the hundreds of Jeep owners around the world freaking out because once they took the doors off, the thing refused to move! Just take the doors off - that's it!

And all step makers have a disable function. For me and RSE, I simply push the button to "off" or "O" and the steps stay put. Or, you can get neat magnet things to put on the strikers to trick the magnetic switches. AMP has a solution because they also know people with Jeeps may just happen to accidentally lose their doors.

If I can do it, pretty much anyone can do it...........

I used the "off" function of my steps to wash the salt and sand and winter crud out. My wife reminded me of how much "stuff" was up in the steps with the recent weather. So, I opened the doors, turned the steps off, closed the doors, washed the steps out and off thoroughly, then when done washing, simply turned them one again and they retracted, and I drove home.

I'm new so bear with me...
One of the first things I did with my jeep was open the door and back up to my mailbox... because my Jeep is too high for me to check mail through the window.
For whatever reason my Jeep allowed me to back up to the mailbox before it locked itself in Park and I was unable to close the door due to the mailbox being in the way.
I ended up having to crawl out the passenger side and pull the mailbox out of the ground in order to get the Jeep moving again.
It was funny cause I'm fat but I never wanna do anything like that again so I ask a lot of questions.

The wonders of modern technology!

All this is supposed to keep people from hurting themselves and it just makes things aggravating for most of us.

I posted up about the stuck in park with the door open aggravation and was told that two shifts from park to drive would override the stuck in park. I hope the same would work with reverse, I'll have to try it before I get in a situation like you were.

According to the Google latching the seatbelt in will unlock the auto-park too.
I've yet to try it though.
