California Extended Brief Top - Rampage/Real Truck

Has anyone tried this safari style top? I was about to get the Bestop safari version for my JT but came across this one. All I could find on here was someone installed the JL version on their JT. Same material and the install is easier and $100 cheaper so looking for some feedback if anyone has any experience with it? TIA

Looks nearly identical to the rugged ridge savannah top which i have. I keep it rolled up in the bed when I have the hardtop off to throw on in unexpected rain. 2 bolts and velcro straps, gets the job done basically like having an umbrella. Won't keep you fully dry but does ok
Got it in "used- like new" condition from Amazon for under $100 definitely happy with it

How’s that pin for the rear roll bar holding up? That was the only part I was worried about. I believe it’s plastic.

No issues in the rear at all. But to be fair I don't actually use it a ton, less than 10 times last summer. There a bar across the back so it doesn't flop around. And the header across the windshield fits tight. 2 pins align the holes and 2 bolts go thru the freedom top brackets to hold the header. So far it has been pretty solid, water tight across that header.

Also my jt 2021, I think there may have been slight changes to the windshield around 2024? Integrated antenna or something not sure if that changed the brackets or what. Not certain but be aware of potential fitment issues if you have a later MY
