Can dealer order a painted roof on a willys?

I'm about to order a second gladiator from gupton. I am leaning towards a Gobi Willys but i know that you need to jump up to at least the overland package to get a painted roof. My question is can the dealer add the price of a painted roof to the lower end trims? Today on youtube i seen a dealer video showcasing a willy sport but it had power locks, windows, and a few other items that as far as i know do not come on sport models. So i was wondering what can you actually add to the lower end trims via a dealer order.

Sorry bud, looks to be a no-go. I would maybe ask for a build quote on the Willy’s and a comprably equipped rubicon. I did, went rubicon as the difference in price vs the features you get were a no brainer.

I agree. I am super tempted to get a Rubi, but i already got the Mojave. I can live without the painted roof. The black looks good with the Gobi. I just did a Sport S build and for the same price as the Willys : I can get black grill, side steps, cold weather package, popular equipment package, LED lighting, convenience package, selec track all wheel drive. I am guessing this is my best value for my buck. So the only thing I would need to buy is some bigger tires and I wouldn't have rock sliders but I don't really care because this is more for daily commute than anything. My Mojave will be what I modify if I decide to do it.

Anyone feel free to chime in with opinions. I am all ears.
