Awesome thanks brother! Would you know if I can get a 35x12.5 on the original spare rim? I'd rather not waste the money on another rim sitting underneath the truck. Thanks again.
Good luck getting a tire shop to mount that size on that rim.

Took these pictures from my old thread, you can find it here to read and see other comments.

It was posted in June of last year.

35's ... Falken Wildpeak M/T on Black Rhino wheels... spare is on the same matching wheel underneath.

Yup I did the same. Bought another damn rockstar 2 rim with another Falken Wildpeak AT3. Definitely sticks out😂 but now I won't worry as much on trips from NY to VT. Any ideas on a good jack to keep in the truck? That's my final dilemma. Even with only the 2" Mopar lift I'm pretty sure the stock scissor jack won't work? Please dont say a hi lift😂. Waste of time money and space in my bed! 😂

Factory jack should be fine. I haven't used the Gladiator factory jack yet, but my factory TJ jack was plenty tall for getting 35s off the ground.

Your Mopar lift doesn't come into play here since you jack under the axle.

I consider myself to be thrifty, not cheap.

I'll be buying good wheels and 35" tires. But see no reason to spend big bucks on a spare.

There are plenty of 315/70-17 used tires on ebay for about $100. Mount it to the factory steel wheel and you have a larger spare for next to nothing.

I just posted about this exact thing. Got a used 35x12.50x17 on eBay for under $90 shipped to my door. Town fair mounted and balanced it on the factory spare for $19. Tucked it right under the bed no issue.

Interesting. So an honest to god 35 fit underneath. That's good to know.

Of course if you want to really be cheap, you can keep the original spare. If you re off road, the difference in circumference won't hurt anything.

And if you are on road in 2H, you are fine with a smaller front wheel. And if you get a rear flat, you can first swap the spare to the front then use the front to fix the rear flat.
