Woah..... crazy. Are all the quoted posts gone too?

Maybe he got a lawyer involved with his heat issue. They would have told him to clean up.

.....or his pissed off the man behind the curtain
I second this... I am sure the Mods here prolly deleted him for some reason. I did empathize with his plight but he was bombarding us with that issue though LOL

Yeah, he went a little nutso and incessant over the issue. Peoples empathy is only going to go so far before it becomes bothersome.

I got my Toyota FJ Cruiser in 2006 when they first came out. And I love the fact that it came without carpet. When putting a boat into or out of the water you get back in the car with soaking wet top sliders and later on just wipe out the water, or mud. Super easy to clean. And no problems with wet carpet that ends up stinking badly later on. Goodbye to smelly carpet. Love the rubber flooring. Would be nice if Jeep would make a rubber floor option.

I am willing to bet he drove around with the carpet off and that's how that much heat got through his shoe. With a carpet and pad below the foot I don't see how it could transfer that much heat.
Even with the carpet off, I believe others when they say that the warning sticker likely relates to the transmission tunnel getting hot under heavy load, and to consult the manual regarding carpet removal. Nobody else reported the floor getting exceptionally hot - the opposite, in fact - that it stayed cool despite all of this.

This is the one thing I think I'll miss when I trade in my F-150 soon for one of these - I've got the rubberized floors, and I love not having carpet. I'll be getting slush mats though so I'm sure that'll help.

You could always remove the seats and carpet and line-x the floor and then put the seats back in. There's an options.
Yup or option 2 you could reline it with the "indestructible" BedRug LINERs - if they've made them yet - they do for the JK I know . Much better than the Original carpeting - NO Rot !
