I finally got around to powdercoating and installing the Cavfab Rampage bumper and skidplate on my Mojave. I am really digging it! I color matched the powdercoat to the military green vinyl decals on the tailgate and soon to also be on the hood.
Installation was pretty smooth for the most part. Only issue I had was the skidplate is snug to the bottom of the frame horns. The Mojave has an extra plate attached to the bottom to hold the shock reservoirs, which was just thick enough to misalign the bolt holes on the front (pic attached). I am not as concerned at this point in time because the four bolts on the top to the bumper are solid and the pressure against the bottom plate are so tight its not going anywhere. If I ever take it off I may try to move the plate off the frame horns or something.
Now I need to get the wiring done for the Baja Designs LP9s going on top of the bumper!
Cheers
