Center Console where Brake Lever Is

Brand new 2020 Jeep Gladiator and the center console piece where the brake lever separated some. Not sure how this happened. Has this happened to anyone else's? If so, how did you fix it?

Here is a picture. How could this happen?

My guess is the hole that I’ve circled receives a stud on the bottom of the part that is pushed to the left. Lift the part to allow the 2 to hook together. Better yet, get the dealer to warranty it so if it breaks they’ll have to replace it.
