I was searching for roof rack rails for my Soft top Gladiator, I wasn't having very much luck, but then I came across a YouTube video where someone installed Rhino Rack rails on his soft top. I decided I was going to copy his idea, but when I got online to buy them I found a few other brands that looked identical to the Rhino Rack. I kept searching for clones and I ended up finding these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFQQKJ2J?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details for $105... They're even cheaper now and they have a 5% coupon as well.

Here's some pics of them installed on my Jeep:

Hey! Thanks for posting! This might be an option for me.

Can they be placed anywhere along the length of the rain gutters? I saw the two crossbars are two different lengths which suggests that there is a limited range of placements.

No they can't. You CAN move them fwd an bkwd a little bit, however the rears will only go so far back due to their width, any farther back and they get stretched out and won't seat into the rain gutters correctly. The front had a little more wiggle room, however when I moved them any farther fwd than I have them the metal clip underneath was super close to hitting on the door when I opened and closed it. Moving it slightly backwards gave me more clearance. The front could prolly be moved fwd if the metal clip was trimmed down slightly.

Remember, these are actually designed to work with the rain gutters on a hard top, so the fit isn't 100% perfect on the soft top. A little bit or trial and error is to be expected. But these were the only style I've found so far that will work with the soft top, and the price for the no-name versions really can't be beat IMO...
