Looking for an alternative to the Mopar version (reviews sound pretty bad on Quadratec). I prefer to keep my boards out of the bed on longer trips and just in general.

Anyone seen anything else similar to this? I checked Thule and Yakima but they were either out of stock or again, bad reviews. Would just be using them for a surfboard and occasionally skis, etc.

Did you ever come up with a solution for your surfboards. I am a windsurfer and wing foiler, looking to put foil board on bed, but windsurfers on the roof. Seems to be a challenge finding the roof/gutter weight limit too.

why not get a bed rack? I have the elevate rack, and it is the best option for me to keep using a tonneau cover. If you don't run a tonneau cover you have many other options for bed racks.

Honestly, the old knob style Thule racks work great, and I think they are superior to the more “modern” style in terms of strength and load carrying. I moved these over from my ‘93 Wrangler, where they served since it was new.
