Anyone do the Kokopelli drive from GJ to Moab? Or the Moab trail (Gateway to Castleton)?

edit: changed to Castleton

Stop at the General Store in Elmo and ask Chris what the Tincup portion of the trail looks like, sometimes it's washed out from spring snows, what places it's rough in, etc. and he'll have reports from everyone. Start early it's like an 8 hour loop. We usually head towards Hancock first, stop in Pitkin for fuel and the burger grill there, then loop to Tincup and back down Tincup Pass back into Elmo...
Thanks, Thats is great info.

I would wager that St. Elmo is still iced over. Last year I went on Father's Day with the kids and they told me they had not started to cut it out of the ice. Be advised there are two passes up there. An easy route and a hard one.
