NC Mountain Trails

I’m headed to the NC mountains tomorrow and thinking about checking out Hurricane Creek, has anyone been down it lately? I think I saw it has reopened. We will be mostly around Black Mountain also looking for some FSR’s that are near by, I believe Hurricane Creek is about an hour from where we will be. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looked it up on OnX, is this the Hurricane creek that is about half way between Fayetteville and Charlotte? If so, there are several trails , rated easy in the area. I am not familiar with that area at all, I am in the Socal desert.
