Courtesy Jeep deals are over!

I submitted a request for a build and got a quote from Kate. I told her I wanted to submit my deposit and confirm the deal to lock it in. She wasn’t able to process my deal because she was backed up after being sick, which I understand. Now I am told the owner has reconfigured his pricing structure due to availability and it will cost 1 k more. Not cool! It is still a good deal and I am undecided if I will go forward but reneging on a quote to get more money is a shady business practice. Ugh!

I ordered one 04/28 and got my VIN on the 29th. Part of the deal was based on the $1k incentive from Jeep.

I asked the dealer about giving him a deposit but he said it wasn't necessary.

I wonder if this means when it's time to take delivery he won't honor the price we agreed on.

That's terrible. I just picked up my Gladiator from Kate on Saturday, 5/1 (ordered 4/6). Everything went pretty smoothly other than sitting at the dealership for a little bit longer than I would have liked. There were no surprises regarding the price.

The dealer should do a better job of communicating. Jeep, not the dealers, is increasing prices on everything. My understanding is that the price increase will even affect some orders that have already been made but not built..

I'm taking delivery on Monday of my JTR, Kate's having someone drive my car from her store to Pittsburgh to delivery it to me. She had been off the radar for a bit but has resumed communication and everything seems to be finishing up correctly.

I placed an order on 3/5 and about 8 weeks in Jeep Chat said they had all the parts and it was waiting to be built. Since the order was supposed to be 7-8 weeks I figured it would be delayed longer and just bought one off the lot elsewhere. Well...the truck must have been built and their system was off because it showed up yesterday. So if anyone is looking for a Sarge Green Rubicon 6 speed with a pretty good deal I posted the details under the Jeep for sale page. Kate was out of communication for a bit but that is understandable. She was great overall and I feel pretty awful for backing out on the deal when I thought it was delayed. @blau iii I think ours arrived together, was yours a Blue Rubi?
