To me the Pintler looks better but the Nomad is more versatile and modular. The ability to add rash rings is pretty cool and the air down feature is really handy.

Be sure to take A1A from Daytona to St. Augustine and back....

Also, be sure to do the Tomoka Loop when you are in Daytona.

I got to visit St. Augustine in Nov 2019 for a work conference, all the way from Canada. Really cool place from what I got to see of it.

I was driving solo so not able to get pics like your quality.

St. Augustine is a unique town. A!A will have you confused and the beach is one way driving. Coming from a lifetime of driving Volusia County beached (2-way traffic), the first time I drove St. Augustine I went the wrong way. Got a lot of weird looks but I had it figured out before the law saw me. Lesson learned.

The wording in your post makes it sound like you are saying avoid going on A1A from Daytona to St. Augustine and back... Hope no one reads and thinks A1A is to be avoided..

Didn't mean it that way. A1A in St. Augustine is not continuous. It dead ends and picks back up miles later to where you have to go back across the intercoastal to get back on. And yes, there is some construction ongoing that makes it even more confusing.

A buddy and I attempted to drive A1A from Flagler Beach to Stuart one time. We had Jimmy Buffett cassette tapes and a cooler full of Corona. We only made it to New Smyrna before we had to take a break.

If you go just North of St Augustine Beach, through the town and over onto Vilano, head to Porpoise Point, open Sandy beach, lots of Jeep’s, few Gladiators and just chill for a few hours, or the day. Local spot, sorry for the image, but my annual sticker is on this one...
