Just leave the wiring, you don't want to damage the factory harness. The device connects to the cellular network. Once it's unplugged, it no longer works. Unless someone is paying for the service, there is no one trying to track it.

I will just tell the dealership if they ever question my Tazer that "hey y'all hardwired into my OBD port. So go F yourself". I'm sure it will work, but I will feel better saying it to them.

I found a similar item but when I unplug it my Gladiator wont start. Please check out my thread for the details. I need to find where the 20 pin connector goes. This damn thing won't let me turn off the horns when I lock/unlock my truck.

I would haver drove it through the front door of the dealership.

I bought it used from a dealership. I have no idea if they put it on or if the previous dealership did. I just want to remove it so the horn stops honking with the remote and it still starts.

Update - I called Karr and they are sending a tech on Tuesday to remove the unit. We'll see if this works. No charge.

Update - it's fixed!!

Handful of wires from the GPS harness were T tapped into the stock harness. He unplugged those and reconnected the starter wire from the GPS harness to the stock harness. No more honking when locking/unlocking the doors!!!
