Diode Dynamics and Tazer JL Mini

Hi All - I searched here and on Google and couldn’t find an answer. I’ll also email DD support for the same this morning.

I recently installed the Elite Max headlights, and used my Tazer JL Mini to change my headlight type to LED from the original Halogen. I’m now second guessing myself wondering if I should switch it back to Halogen since the headlights obviously say plug and play and don’t mention anything about reprogramming.

Any benefit one way or the other?

I believe the consensus is run them without using Tazer, and if you run into issues switch the settings to LED? That’s what I vaguely remember from all the threads when they came out but someone else will need to chime in.

@Diode Dynamics - Wondering if there is any benefit, maybe less heat, for using Tazer to change my setting to LED for your Elite Max headlights. I‘ve tried both and they seem to work well either way.
