"We’ll be driving down the highway and hear a PING!!! That’s one of the stones coming out of the tire and hitting the slider steps."

I was driving a bit to fast out in the Badlands last week and had a rock spin off the driver side back tire and hit the rear door. Sounded like a gunshot. I have the strangest little dent in the middle of the door now.

The funny part is I have a pair of RockHard4x4 full length rock slider steps setting in the garage just waiting to be put on. I broke both of the middle frame bolt housings trying to get them off with a 1/2" breaker bar. Got to find someone to open them up, re-spot wield 'em and put it all back together.
That's what I have installed and I love them.

Hey, I just installed the Cross Terrain steps. I like them. I messaged them because I’d really like like to have some spare M6 short screws.

There is a hack for putting the clamps on if they won’t just slide through because of a slight spacing issue. Just slide the top half on from the ends of the rail until it‘s is where you want it then install the bottom portion of the clamp. There is no friction, no potential for damage or nothing. Easy-Peazy ! If you still don’t have enough clearance then by all means loosen the rail.

Good Stuff !

These things solved my concerns for now:

Rockblokz front mud flaps
Auto Stop device
Cross Terrain steps
0W-30 oil
Remove TPMS sensors and perform factory disable technique.

If they could only make a 33-35” C load street-ish tread 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Now for a Hell-Fer-Stout animal smashing full width front bumper that can use the factory sway bar skid and lights…Any suggestions?
