Has anyone done it? It is nasty windy/loud?

I'm about 90% of the way to buying a bed cap/topper. But then I realized that it might make it impractical to take the top off. Which I plan to do in the summer. Mainly around town.

One other option is installing a soft top and running it in "man bun" mode .

Does anyone have first hand experience? Thanks.

I just run the sun rider top all summer. I think it would be difficult to remove the whole top with the cap in place.

It would be difficult. But I've got a garage with a high ceiling and was thinking of putting a hoist in the ceiling. We'd really just be talking about taking it off in the spring and on in the winter.

I'm most interested in noise/wind, general experiences of DRIVING with the top off and a bed topper.
