Hi all!

I just installed a new set of LED headlights. Bought TRUE MODS 9" Round LED Headlights from Amazon. The lights look amazing. Just one slight problem. I noticed that when the headlights come on, the driver side DRL is off and the passenger side is on.

When the headlights are off everything is normal. What could be the issue?

That's interesting. Where did you run the hot/switched lead to for the 'angel eyes' (halos)?

I did this mod over three years ago, the Amazon $274 9" LEDs and didn't have this issue.

I ran mine to the fuse numbered 52 with a dual fuse tap...one fuse for the #52 circuit itself and the other fuse is for the Halos themselves. Fuse 52 is a switched hot line so, when your vehicle is running, it's hot. When you shut down, it's not.

Here's a link to how others have done it, from this forum...

Hope this helps.

I ran the adapter harness it came with to Fuse 52. I'm thinking of taking the DRL bulbs out. LOL!

Any update on your provlem? im running into the same problem right now. I contacted the dealership and they said it may be a problem with a wiring harness or module. Im guessing there is a pigtail from the headlight to the DRL. Let me know if u got a solution

Did you guys reprogram to read LEDs? I have the oracles with the halos running to fuse 52 also, aftermarket LED bulbs for the signals and drls and no issues. I changed everything to LED using JSCAN.

The computer does funny things when LEDs are installed.

Yes, i used Jscan to change everything to LED. I also used Jscan to disable the DRL and the passenger side still stays on.

You probably don't need to change the setting to LED for these headlights. Definitely don't change any other bulb to LED either. Try setting it back to halogen.
