Pretty useful when connecting a trailer or backing up in the dark, i.e. not on paved lots. I have a feeling you wont be disabling the camera because that would be stupid.
my van has 360 degree parking. So far most of winter its been useless because of the salty mess on all the cameras; but when it was working, i also didn't like using it except for getting it exactly in the right place. So for the few times this came up its nice. I wouldn't pay a ton more for it, but if its included, i won't be tearing it off the truck.

And if you don’t want to use it, your passenger can look at the camera’ view to see how good you are parking your Jeep without using it!!!

yeah.

luckily tonight my friend was watching the 360 camera, because for some reason the parking sensors were turned off. He told me to stop while parallel parking our new van, because we were within INCHES of the car behind us, i realized the parking sensors were off, turned them on, they were going bonkers. lol

I use to be great at parallel parking, but i haven't learned the distances on our new fan yet.

So 360 cam saved me from tapping another car tonight...........cool.

I like the idea of having a backup camera again. My Jk does not and as mentioned above, It is a pain in the butt when hooking up the trailer trying to judge the distance to the tongue that you cannot see.
Beyond that, A sad but true example of a camera's helpfulness.....stopped at the gas station one day on the way home, as I got into the jeep, my wife texted me, I answered her text, started the jeep, put it in reverse, checked all three mirrors and started to back up but felt a thump within a foot or so.... some lady had pulled up behind me while I was looking down at my phone and had pulled so close up behind me in her mustang that from the drivers seat, her car was hidden from view in all three mirrors and when I bumped into her and turned to look directly out the back window I still could not see her car... If I had a camera, I would have seen her there saving the aggravation and insurance hike. why she parked behind me instead of any of the three empty spots was never answered but Im just glad it was a small car stopped behind me and not a small person...

yeah, stuff can happen. I like some technology. To me, if the camera ends up braking, oh well.
But if the who knows how much $$$ uconnect headunit breaks, it kinda screws up a lot more stuff.
