Just picked up the Gladiator Saturday and trying to sort it. Doesn't seem like a lot of options for cover + racks together that aren't $$$ or very heavy duty beyond what I need.

I will use the tonneau almost every day so that is the priority, but there will be trips to the hills where I would prioritize the racks. There's going to be too many days after baseball tournaments or practices where we need to leave gear or suitcases in the bed for hours in a parking lot. Don't want to have to shuttle it all into the cabin.

Since there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice for a combo, is there a good solid roll up tonneau that could be easily removed to setup the racks? Or maybe some rack which has a wide enough attachment to reach around the rollup rails, and can be added with the tonneau rolled up, even if it means the cover stays rolled up.

I will spend a little time swapping the tonneau for the racks as needed, it won't be too frequent.

So say something like the Yakima towers will reach around the rails for the Rough Country rollup tonneau. Etc.

I know there is a similar thread on this but I didn't want to hijack it for a different variant of the question.

The Mopar tonneau is extremely easy to remove - just 2 bolts at rear of bed. Easily completely removed in less than 1 minute.
