Does something like the Antirock front swaybar kit negate the need for the electronic swaybar disconnect on the Rubicons? If I understand the product details this can be run on/off road without the need to ever disconnect the sway bar.

I'm looking to get a Genright ULTRA clearance with Lo-Pro winch guard front bumper which states that this kit swaybar kit is required.

If this is the case this is yet another reason for me to choose a Sport S with max tow instead of a Rubicon. I've been set on a Rubicon but am starting to think I can upgrade over time to the same capabilities.

Thoughts please. Thanks

An Antirock is a very very soft swaybar. I have one on my 2006 Rubicon however that one has multiple holes for the arm to adjust tension. Personally, I would keep the stock Rubicon one.

If you are going to do a scratch build from a Sport, then yes this is a good middle ground but just know that it will have a good amount of body roll on the street. My 06 is no power house with the 4.0 and a 6sp manual but it just about hangs the driver's front tire if you try to accelerate briskly with the Antirock on the softest setting. That is on a 4" Currie lift with 33's and the oem rear swaybar.
