Greetings, I upgraded my 5" screen for a 7", then added a 5 channel Kicker amp. It works great. Now I'm ready to start upgrading the individual speakers. One issue, component speakers require crossovers, usually passive. Because I'm replacing component with component, are there not existing crossovers in the basic set up? Could use those instead of having to find space to install new ones?

Thinking of trying the Focal ES 100 from Crutch.

TIA

None.

Radio is 4 channels @ 4 ohms per channel. Factory 8 ohm speakers are wired 2 per channel in parallel. No crossovers. All drivers are full range.

EDIT: Good resource for all things JL/JT audio related: https://carstereochick.com/2019/04/20/jeep-wrangler-jl-stereo-upgrade/
Thanks for the reply & resources, Mike. The latter in particular really helped me to visualize the existing system. I have a much better idea what needs to be done when my Focal upgrade components arrive tomorrow.

What do you mean by full range? I'm assuming you don't mean both the tweeter and the midrange speaker play all frequencies. I'm trying to find out what the crossover point is because I want to reuse the speakers in another project and I don't want to blow the tweeters.
