Factory twill roll up tonneau care

Hey everyone. I’ve got a willys that came with the factory twill tonneau. I’ve noticed it’s collected a bunch of cottonwood tree cotton over the past few weeks. What are you suppose to do to clean these? I’ve never had soft tops or anything with this material before so any advice would be great. I did search the forums and found a similar question but it only had one reply.

I wonder if a good old lint brush would do the job. I guess you could give it a try.
