I had my rear right axle replaced around 5,000 miles ago and since then have noticed a slight grinding sound as I coast and reapply my foot on the gas pedal.
Dealer said I would have to leave it for a few days and they are booked out 2-3 weeks on appointments.
Anybody else have this sound? Could it be my diff is damaged?

I got my jeep back in December after 7 months in the body shop. They replaced frame and front axle.

I don't get any grinding on normal acceleration or even heavy acceleration if I'm already moving, but if I try to pull away quickly from a stop I hear it.

I'm still looking around the forums but haven't seen anyone else mention it yet. I'm wondering if they missed something else that needed replacing that may not have been obvious without driving a lot.
