When we brought down the truck from North Carolina to Florida, I noticed that when accelerating the air conditioning will throw warm air. I didn't made to much though about it, but know I notice it more. Anyone else experiencing similar issues.

Is it
constant?
Sporadic?
Passenger side? Bottom?

Sounds like a/c cuts out for more power when accelerating...

I haven’t noticed this issue.
But I have noticed if I turn the a/c off, when I turn it back on the next trip that it blows warm air for what seems like a good 5-7 minutes before it starts cooling at all.

The ac compressor clutch is controlled by the torque management system for the engine. It is shut off when. You exceed the ac torque limit for that gear and it also is set to come on less during engine warm up. Not sure why as I assume that would help the engine warm up.

I read somewhere that the system forces a fresh air exchange at random intervals, but not sure if that's the case or not.

Yeah I have felt that too. i think the evaporator may be on the small side and to keep from freezing up they run hot air over sometimes.

Running the AC whether it was 70F or 100F+ outside regardless of AC temp setting (AC not in auto mode) I also experienced hot air blowing from the passenger side floor area. This would happen randomly with city driving or cruising at highway speeds (kept it in the double digits).

Today, per my request (from forum suggestions) the dealer reprogrammed per TSB 24-007-19 and TSB 24-007-21.

This seems to have fixed the problem, I will advise if further driving reveals otherwise.

Thank you all for the information that helped.
