Planning a July trip to the Utah Moab area for family tent camping.. can anyone give some recommendations on places to camp. More sight seeing/camping then off road adventure.

People tent camp in summer, but it would be too hot for me. Although the La Sal Mountains would be a good bet for cooler weather. If you’re looking in town, there’s a couple of spots off Kane Creek rd that have some shade or along the Colorado off 128

La Sal got hit pretty hard, I am sure there will be fire restrictions.
