Good Day and Happy Anniversary to my Fellow Canadian Military Engineers!!! (if there are any on this site)
29 April 2022, is the 119th Anniversary of the Canadian Military Engineers, which originated from the creation of the Canadian Engineer Corps in 1903.
Many significant events have occurred throughout those years with Canada’s involvement in the two World Wars, regional wars, peace-making and peace-keeping missions, counter-insurgency operations, and in numerous domestic operations. At all times, Canadian Military Engineers have punched above their weight, making significant contributions to the success of those missions.
I will also give a shout out to our US and European MILENG brothers whom we work alongside in most conflict zones, I have had many chances to work along side some great RAF, USAF Engineers and Red Horse folks over the years.
