Filling your DEF tank

i take the def jug out of the box, use the hose that comes with the jug, extend it fully, stick it in the hole and take my time and start pour it in, not that complicated. I fill up at about 1/2 tank or less so i use a full 2.5 gallon jug. If any spills i splash the area with water after i put the cap back on and go about my business.

We have only put 5 gallons in…. So 2 full ups, and the funnel that comes with it works great. Screwing it on takes a couple times- cross threading…

I found this article to be decent. Unfortunately we still have the urea system attached so for the time being we will be running platinum- crystals can’t be good!
