First experience using Plastidip(Jeep emblem)

Decided to try out this plastidip ive seen people do On their emblems. Its a spray on rubber coating that can be peeled off. It worked just as advertised.

The finished product came out good. I went with a matte black. The stuff peeled away from where I wanted it to and the overspray on both sides wiped off with a cloth. I would recommend this.

Just a little bit of blue painters tape. Im not good at spraying paint and could have used another foot of tape on every side.

wound up pulling the taillights and reflectors off and spraying them and the 3rd brake light with 1 coat of black, a couple coats Of smoke, and 4-5 coats of glossifier.

Do the brake lights still shine through well enough?

Yes. there is of course some loss of light but I think this is more than ok for safety. I may upgrade the bulbs.

Brake-lights on in direct sunlight and then I caught a pic with the hazards on but a cloud was overhead.
