Hello Everyone,

My '22 JTR came with factory halogens which I upgraded to the DV8 LED headlights a few months ago. I taped into the green wire on the factor harness (didn't need to make any changes with a Tazer) and the amber halo turn signals on the DV8 headlights have worked perfectly since then.

Last night I installed a set of Mopar LED turn signals (replacing the original factory lighting harness) but again tapping into the green wire for the turn signal. Now everything works perfectly except I no longer have the amber halo (or any halo) for the turn signal.

I think its a Tazer setting but I can't figure it out.

Thank you

Did you tap into the same wire number (connector pin) as before? The harnesses may use different colors for the wires.

A-ha…You may have just identified the problem. I assumed that the green & white wire would be the same on both harnesses. Any quick tips on how I can determine what PIN number it should be? Thank you very much

The quickest way is to pull both harnesses and compare them. See which pin the green wire on the working harness connects to, and then check that pin on the new harness.

Do the new turn signals work? It could be that the wiring is correct, and the computer is shutting them off due to the draw of the lights not matching what it expects.

Ok thank you. When you say compare the two harnesses, do you mean the new harness and the one I removed, or the new harness, and where the other end of the lighting harness connects to the panel? I already disposed of the old harness ??‍♂. Yes, the new turn signals work perfectly. Thank you very much your help ??

Yes, compare the new harness to the one removed. The old harness should have been put in a box with the parts removed.

It was indeed…but it’s in landfill now. Oops

Since you have disposed of what you need to investigate the problem, my only suggestion is to disconnect the new harness and use a meter or test light to check which pin is providing the desired function.

You could also try contacting DV8 and see if they can tell you which wire it is.
