Hi All,
I purchased my 2023 Rubicon JT in October 2023 and it had most of what I wanted on it at the dealer, with the exception of the LED lighting package, AUX switches and the power in the bed. Since then I have installed the AUX switches, power in the bed, OEM LED headlights, OEM DRLs, I installed the Rubicon steel bumper/w the LED fog lights, and finally the Oracle tail lights. Initially, I installed everything but the taillights and then took my JT to the dealer to have them add the sales codes for the lights, as well as the power outlet in the bed, and the AUX switch (I installed everything myself, but the dealer as part of the sale agreed to update the sales codes - provided below). Everything worked, but I am getting the the "turn signal lights out" error. I took it back to the dealer and they are not sure why I am getting the error, and since they didn't install the lights they are not sure why I am getting the error. All the lights are working, for the most part, though the tail lights don't seem to work all the time. I was not sure why this way happening, and from my research on this forum prior to installing everything and since, I thought that maybe because I had originally left the halogen tail lights on my JT and that might have been causing the error. So I installed a set of Oracle tail lights (removing the little resistor, since I have LED lights). I continue to receive the same error, but now I am getting am occasionally receiving an error with the tail lights.
I bought the OBD Link MX+ and the JSCAN program just in case I need to do something to adjust the settings, but before I do anything I wanted to see what folks think. I had thought by having the dealer put in the sales codes I would be good, but clearly not. So I am a bit confused on what to do next.
Thanks much for the help!
