I just got a JT and want to level it up and throw some other things at it. It will be a pavement pounder and probably not see any trails for years.
I have a jk and a TJ also and have installed spacer lifts/ leveling on many other jeeps as well as any other suspension mod you can imagine.
I have never used a spacer kit that mounts on the axle side though.
looking at the super lift 2.5” front spacer kit and it is a steel spacer that mounts on the axle side.
many advantages/ disadvantages to this vs a poly spacer on top of the spring?
My concern with poly is the lifespan, it eventually gets brittle and crumbles. I’ve never ran spacers long enough for this to happen but have had many bushings and mounts that crumbled from age so I tend to avoid it.
