Gateking Tailgate Adjuster?

Anybody have one of these? Any reviews? We just bought a couple of e-bikes that are just barely two long for the bed with the tailgate closed. Looking for something more adjustable than the one position the OEM tailgate cable provides.

You do know that there are 2 little "hooks" on each end of the tailgate (bedside that is) that you run the cable around and it holds the tailgate up about half way???? I believe it is shown in the manual (you know that thing that nobody ever reads!!).

Yep, want more positions than just half-way open with the cable.

You can make your own using a variety of items!!
I'm currently working getting my Vic Vegas in the back. Got the helpers made (pic attached) now working on platform design to extend the bed length to about 85"
