I’m looking at the general grabber at/x. Been a big fan of those and the ko2s. Anyone running a 285/70r17 on the stock wheels. Tire rack says it’ll fit on the 7.5 inch rim. Want to see if anyone is having any issues with that.
Probably going to do a 2.5 or 3.5 inch lift later and want to stay around a 33 for mpg and commuting use. Light trail riding for now.

I'd go for the Falken's as take-off's from a JTR over a General Grabber. I've been really pleased with how they have worked out on my YJ, great on the street and in the dirt. Hard to beat KO2's at this point, though.

Love my old general grabber at2’s

they will fit fine on stock rims

I’m running Yokohama geolander at g015 at 285/75/17 and getting 19-21 mpg. Running them with a 2in spacer lift they loom proportional to the truck and don’t cause gear searching like 35/37 do. Feel and sound like stock tires but handle great on the sand.

That looks dope. I think I’ll have to do a 2.5 or 3.5 and 33s. Just have to see which is going to be better for some Wheeling.

Sounds like a good Pick!

mine are 285/75/17 which is 33.8 un mounted. If you go 285/70 theyll look small Since they’re 32.7 un mounted. Theyll shrink to 32(ish) once on with the trucks weight.

I've run BFGs since 2009...until I just put a set of 35x12.5 Grabber X3s on the '20 JLUR. Went back and forth on putting the BFG KOs on it (it's a daily driver), but looking at the KOs on my buddies JTR and the X3s on the JLUR now...very pleased with the Grabber X3s. They are kind of a hybrid between a true A/T and M/T, big lugs/side lugs but fully siped. We've only had them on the JLUR for a few weeks, but they seem to handle/feel great on-road and clear the Georgia mud on the dirt road very well. The siping is full lug depth. Overall, we'll see in the long run, but as a long-time BFG runner, very impressed with the GT Grabber X3s.
