Yes, but what's the point if the device with the USB C is BT enabled? You're not going to get the benefit of a hardwired connection (less compression, greater frequency response and range) on a tiny BT speaker. The only advantage is perhaps a minor increase in your battery life.

On your big honkin' home stereo it's a much different story.
Very true, but a few of them also have a pass-through so you can charge your phone and with the Jeep one that might be a plus. But I don't disagree with you.

Just to update …..
I downloaded several different App’s to try out. Every single one of them wouldn’t do anything unless I ā€˜signed up’ or paid for it. šŸ™„

Delete, delete, delete…. No offense…. I’m so sick of throwing my email address signing up and registering for everything. I already get way too much junk mail.

I’ve decided to use a Bullhorn. I’ll see if the club has one, borrow one, or buy one.. You can get one for $13 on Amazon. šŸ˜‚

That’s probably a good option if it’s likely to be a 1 time thing. If not there are some you can get from big box stores that do the PA thing. Come with a mic and the whole 9 along with BT connection. Couple hundred bucks.

Thanks! This is definitely a once or twice a year kinda thing. 😊

Actually I use that BT speaker A LOT and it’s a tough system, waterproof and such. It’s good audio quality and the fact that it sits neatly in a cradle behind the back seat always changed and ready to use is a huge plus. Didn’t know it was a $400 option, came with my X Alpine system so I’m good.
I wouldn’t say that I use it a lot, but I am glad it came with my Jeep. I love the fact that it is always there and charged, so if I feel the need to use it, I can. I have used it a couple times while working on the truck. Honestly, I keep forgetting about it when we are camping. šŸ˜‚

Now I am going to have to check if it is playing when in the dock. I don’t believe it is, but I would have to verify.

šŸ˜‚I had to do it.... check the BT Speaker.

And yes, it does play with your other speakers.

I was in the settings trying to find any settings related to it..........and/or if you could adjust similar settings as the rest of the speakers. I couldn't find anything. šŸ˜•

Even if you push the volume up/down buttons on the speaker itself, it doesn't change anything.
Tried pushing On/off button also, and nothing changed. It just plays with the rest of the speakers.

I don't know why you'd want it to play in the dock behind the seat. You're not getting the full benefit of it. It would've been better served being up in the sound bar as a removable center speaker.

Yea...maybe that'll come in future generations. 😁

It would be cool if it stayed synced to the Jeeps radio when it was removed. Guess it doesn’t really matter though since I am usually streaming from my phone to the jeep.

It’s just easier (and better for the jeep) that way…. to use your phone.

You’d have to put the jeep in ACC or Run mode to keep the radio playing. It’d kill your battery.
