I don't get the need to put tech into everything. Garagesmart does the same thing that all the other lifts do but with worthless tech and $200 more.

Yes that’s the Gladiator specific one.
I would just get the basic kit without the winch.
They just bought a winch from harbor freight and stuck a j-Barr sticker on it and charged quite a bit more for the whole kit.

Would you have to run power to a 12v or use some kind of inverter or does the kit (J bar) come with a 110v wall socket plug?

Couldn’t we just run the straps through the sliding rear window?
