I purchased my first Jeep, a Gladiator Rubicon but it does not have the 115-volt power outlet in the truck bed.

Anyone know how I can purchase that part and instal it? There’s a place for it on the passenger side of the truck bed already with a Cap on it. I’m assuming the Rubicons are already equipped with a 400-watt converter but the few Jeep dealership Parts and Accessory departments I have called have no clue about the cargo package or it’s functions. One said they do not sell this accessory, or it doesn’t exist yet.
Thanks.

1. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the Jeep!

2. This probably isn't the place for this thread. This is the for sale section. You may want to repost under general discussion.

3. I recommend a DIY. There are quite a few how-tos/ideas out there on how to get it done. Here's one to get you started - https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/question-about-adding-outlet-to-bed.17684/

According to the above thread, the bed outlet is Mopar part number 68312754AB. I was able to find multiple for sale on ebay, but it does look to be a discontinued part. Also, if you do not have the port from the factory, I *believe* you do not have the wiring harness for it either (I could be wrong), so going OEM may be more trouble than it's worth. When I install bed power, I personally will be using that panel for a 12v fridge port wired direct to the battery and input for my eventual solar setup. Do a little research and figure out which direction you want to go. There are many, many possibilities.

Great feedback and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
