Pretty sure after much deliberation over on the JL forums it was concluded that only the inserts are bigger. People have swapped over to the gladiator style inserts without any issue. For instance, LiteBrite just recently did this on the step child.

This forum member also ordered a JL grill before the JT specific one was available and said everything was the same except for the inserts:

It got here and here's what I know. It will fit the JT.....the grille slats are 1 for 1 swap with the JT. Only difference is the size of the air.flow holes in the slats

I emailed Quadratec last night. Heard back from them this morning.

To their knowledge, nobody makes them to fit with the trail cam.
